Coming off the school’s first unbeaten regular season in school history, Christian County had 12 players named All-Western Kentucky Conference. Those players were recognized at the WKC banquet Wednesday in Draffenville.
Players named All-WKC were:
Cory Trice – The Purdue commit led the Colonels in interceptions (three) despite playing just eight games due to a foot injury. Trice also had three fumble recoveries and scored five touchdowns on defense and special teams.
Kendarius Major – Had 47 tackles on defense and was second with 21 solo tackles.
Shamar Foster – had two interceptions, including one he returned for a touchdown, and 58 tackles.
Corey Stubbs – Had two interceptions and one fumble recovery, scoring two touchdowns on defense.
Tre Wimbush – Had two interceptions and two fumble recoveries. He scored touchdowns off both of the fumbles and had 39 tackles on the season.
Peyton Leneave – Overcame a knee injury to return midway through the season and anchor the Colonel defense.
JaQuan Long – Led the Colonels with 43 catches for 756 yards and eight touchdowns.
Kolbe Langhi – Set the Christian County career passing mark, adding 1,743 yards and 12 touchdowns to those totals this year. He also rushed for 247 yards and nine touchdowns.
Diion Leavell – Rushed for 499 yards and seven touchdowns.
Zach Hale – Part of an offensive line that averaged 29 points and 295 yards of offense a game.
Jadonavin McNeal – Led the Colonels in rushing with 706 yards and six touchdowns. He also caught 14 passes for 246 yards and three scores.
Ellis Dunn – Caught 42 passes for 622 yards and three touchdowns.
