Trigg County has found the basketball court at Community Christian Academy to their liking in the past week. After winning two of three games there over the weekend in the 1st Lady Warrior Classic, Trigg beat the host Lady Warriors 48-35 on Tuesday.
Trigg County scored the first 11 points of the game and built a 29-12 lead by halftime.
Community Christian (4-6) rallied in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 36-28, but an 11-2 Trigg run to start the fourth quarter squelched any run the Lady Warriors were about to make.
Freshman Adri Phillips scored 10 of her 15 points in the first half and added seven rebounds and four steals for the Lady Wildcats. Lauren Oliver added 12 points and 15 rebounds, and Rylee Bush scored eight points and hauled down seven boards. Trigg outrebounded CCA 43-27.
Alaya Murphy led Community Christian (4-6) with 18 points.
After dropping the first two games of the series with CCA, Trigg County has won the last four straight against the Lady Warriors.
Trigg County (6-7) returns to action Friday when they host Livingston Central at Wildcat Gym.
