Trigg County’s Darrin Brown signed with Brescia University in front of his family and friends in a ceremony on Wednesday. Darrin joins his brother, Micah, in choosing the Bearcats to continue his education and baseball career. A catcher and corner infielder for the Wildcats, Darrin hit for a .277 average with 22 RBIs last season, and reached base in 24 of Trigg’s 26 games. Darrin spoke about what appealed to him about Brescia, and reveals he and his brother’s housing plans.
