#9 – Hopkinsville beats Henderson County in a Shootout – The two best boys’ soccer teams in the Second Region met in the semifinals of the region tournament and played a match worthy of a championship battle. Hopkinsville beat Henderson County 4-3 in a contest decided by penalty kicks. That round of kicks presented some of the best drama of the high school sports season.
