Kentucky baseball is not the only one on a hot streak.

The 6-2, 175-pound Ferguson is rated as a three-star player but he has offers from Georgia, Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Arkansas, LSU, Houston, Texas Tech, Miami, Kansas, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington and Central Florida.

The 5-9, 185-pound Purcell had already visited Georgia and Miami and also had offers from Clemson, Florida, Georgia Southern, Houston, Indiana, Jacksonville State, Marshall, Memphis, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, Troy, UAB, Central Florida and South Florida.

Those are impressive early offer lists for both players and show the level Kentucky football recruiting has reached.

Ferguson is the No. 627 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to On3 Industry Ranking. He is the No. 51 receiver nationally and No. 57 prospect out of Texas according to the On3 Player Rankings.

Purcell and Ferguson join running back Marquise Davis, safety Martels Carter, receiver Quinton Simmons, offensive lineman Darrin Strey, quarterback Stone Saunders, quarterback Brennen Ward and offensive lineman Tucker Kattus in UK’s 2025 recruiting class.
