To say it was a good trip to Danville for the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm soccer team would be a bit of an understatement. The Lady Storm not only finished with an undefeated weekend at the Centre Soccer Camp, but they were not even scored on in their five matches.
The Lady Storm knocked off Hopkinsville 3-0. Lilly Armour scored twice and Jaci Childress added the other goal.
Hopkins Central blanked Conner 2-0. Lilly Armour and Emma Vandiver found the net for the Lady Storm.
In their highest-scoring match of the weekend, the Lady Storm ‘thundered’ past Corbin 5-0. Mary Grace Starks led the way with a pair of goals. Lilly Armour, Ashdyn Dugger, and Emma Vandiver had one goal each.
The Lady Storm also picked up a solid 1-0 win over South Warren. Lilly Armour scored the lone goal in the match.
For her efforts, Lilly Armour was named to the camp All Star game.
Saylor Larkins was named Player of the Week.
