Lilly Perry carded a career-best score and finished in a ninth-place tie at the All A Classic State Golf Tournament in Richmond on Sunday.

The Lyon County junior shot a 39 on the front nine of Gibson Bay Golf Course, an unrelenting venue with inconsistent green speeds and narrow fairways.

She had three birdies and would have had five except for birdie lip-outs on the first and 18th holes.

Perry’s round of 81 was her career-low score, coming just a few weeks after her previous best at the All A Region Tournament.

Perry and Brenna Breitrick qualified for their second All A State Tournament. Breitrick shot a 106 and finished tied for 35th place.

Ballard Memorial’s Madison Glisson shot a 1-under-par 71 to win her third straight All A state title.
