This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of April 8 is Christian County’s Aiden Lewis. Lewis was selected based on his performance in the Colonels’ big 8th District win over University Heights on April 12 on the Blazers’ home field.

Lewis had a solid game, both on the mound and at the plate. Aiden got the win for Christian County, going 5 1/3 innings, giving up two runs on four hits, striking out seven, and walking four.

He also had one of Christian County’s four hits in the game and drove in two of the Colonels’ runs as Christian County took the 5-2 win.

The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game for their team that week.
