Lilly Perry had one of those all around great games Friday night. Perry had a pair of hits and two RBIs at the plate and, oh by the way, she pitched a complete game no-hitter in the circle on the road as the Lyon County Lady Lyons cruised by Calloway County 7-0.

Perry stuck out 14 batters and walked only three in pitching arguably her best game of the season.

The Lady Lyons gave Perry all the support she would need when they got on the board in the top of the 2nd inning. Lauren Davis walked with the bases loaded to score Gracen Wynn and give Lyon County a 1-0 lead.

Lyon County extended the lead in the top of the 5th when Jenna Coursey led off the inning with a single and then later scored when Brenna Breitrick hit into a fielder’s choice to make it 2-0.

The Lady Lyons added some insurance in the top of the 6th inning. A Calloway County error and a walk opened the door for Lyon County to score three times and run the lead out to 5-0.

Gracen Wynn and Lilly Perry then added RBI singles in the top of the 7th to finish out the scoring for the game.

Perry finished 2-4 at the plate with a double and two RBIs. Lauren Davis went 3-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. The Lady Lyons ended up scoring their seven runs on seven hits.

Lyon County ends a two-game skid and improves to 10-11. They are back on the road Monday as they take on Christian County.
