The tennis teams from Lyon County had their brooms in hand Tuesday. Both the Lyons and Lady Lyons faced off against Union County and picked up sweeps in their matches against the Braves and the Bravettes.
In boys’ play, in a limited schedule of matches, the Lyons took a 2-0 team win over Union County. The Lyons won the one singles match and the one doubles match that were played.
The Lady Lyons won the three singles matches and the one doubles match that counted towards the team score in a 4-0 win over the Bravettes. Union County did win one exhibition match.
